Refund Policy

Effective Date: 22.04.2025

At Wanna Marry Me, we provide personalised matchmaking and coaching services that require significant time, preparation, and individualised work. For this reason, once services have commenced, refunds are generally not available except as required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). 

1. Cooling-Off Period

 We offer a 48-hour voluntary cooling-off period from the time of purchase.

You may request a full refund during this period if:

  • No part of the service has been delivered 
  • No consultations, coaching, or profile work has started 
  • No client information review or match search has commenced.
     

Requests must be sent to marryme.au@gmail.com within 48 hours.

2. When Services Are Considered to Have Commenced

 Services are deemed to have commenced when any of the following occur:

  • Your profile review has begun 
  • Your personal information has been analysed 
  • Match searching or compatibility assessment has started 
  • A consultation has been held or scheduled 
  • Coaching support, advice, or preparation has been provided 
  • Communication regarding matchmaking has been delivered
     

Once services have commenced, no refunds apply.

3. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Provided

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • You change your mind after the 48-hour cooling-off period 
  • You fail to attend scheduled consultations, meetings, or coaching sessions 
  • You do not actively participate or engage during the service period 
  • You request services to be delivered in a manner inconsistent with professional guidance 
  • The outcome is affected by factors outside our control (e.g., your preferences, timing, effort, communication, or the availability of suitable matches) 
  • Suitable introductions matching your stated preferences are provided, but you decline, reject, or do not pursue them (“deal breaker”) 
  • You breach the Membership Terms or behave in a way that prevents continued service delivery 
  • You receive part of the service, or any work has already been completed on your behalf.

4. Partial or Pro-Rata Refunds

 Because our services are customised, time-intensive, and involve professional matchmaking research, partial or pro-rata refunds are not offered after work has begun, unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.

As matchmaking outcomes depend on personal compatibility and the availability of suitable matches, we cannot guarantee that a specific number of matches will be provided.

If suitable matches cannot be identified despite reasonable effort, this does not qualify for a refund, as core services—including profile development, search, assessment, guidance, and communication—have already been delivered.

5. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If a major failure occurs that cannot be remedied, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement service, in accordance with the ACL.
